Otto M. Schwarz, born in Austria in 1967, has been one of the most internationally successful composers of symphonic wind music for over three decades. His works are played by thousands of orchestras in more than 80 countries, earning him global recognition as one of the most influential composers in his genre.

In addition to his significant role in wind music, Schwarz is also firmly established in film and media music. He composed music for over 50 feature films and wrote more than 3000 works for documentaries and television productions broadcast on international channels. His ability to combine emotional depth, orchestral colors, and dramatic precision makes him a highly sought-after musician in various areas of music production.

Since 1995, his works have been published by renowned publishers such as De Haske, Mitropa, and Hal Leonard. In 2020, Schwarz founded his own publishing house, Symphonic Dimensions Publishing, whose editions are exclusively distributed by Stretta Music (EU).

For his extraordinary work, Otto M. Schwarz has received numerous awards, including the BUMA International Award (2022). He was also awarded both the Golden Emblem of Honor of the State of Lower Austria and the Golden Emblem of Honor of the Republic of Austria for his special achievements.
