Glenn Van Looy presents 5 Concert Pieces for Horn & Piano

Belgian musician Glenn Van Looy is considered one of the outstanding euphonium players of his generation. Musically influenced early on by his father, a bass trombonist, he studied at the Secondary School of Art in Antwerp and the Lemmens Institute in Leuven.

From a young age, Van Looy was a member of renowned brass bands and quickly made a name for himself as a soloist and ensemble player. His international career is marked by numerous successes in solo competitions in Europe, Australia, and Asia – including victory at the Ern Keller Memorial (Sydney) and first places at the Jeju International Brass Competition (2011) and the Lieksa Competition (2012).

As a sought-after concert soloist, he has worked with orchestras such as the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra and the European Youth Brass Band . He enjoys a special artistic partnership with composers Otto M. Schwarz and Thomas Doss : together they created the collection Glenn Van Looy presents 5 Concert Pieces for B♭ Cornet (Trumpet) & Piano , published by Symphonic Dimensions Publishing.

Glenn Van Looy is making a significant contribution to expanding the brass repertoire and setting new standards for euphonium players worldwide.
