Susanne Zabl, born in 1979 in Wels (Upper Austria), received instrumental training in clarinet, piano, and Latin percussion. In 2003, she completed her conducting studies with Thomas Doss and subsequently took on the musical direction of a wind orchestra. Composition studies and numerous seminars with renowned composers deepened her musical expertise and led to several works that were selected as compulsory pieces by the Austrian Wind Music Association and performed during international guest conducting engagements.
Alongside her master’s degree in technical mathematics at Johannes Kepler University Linz, Zabl discovered her passion for music engraving, which she has been practicing professionally for more than 20 years. During this time, she has worked closely with composers such as Otto M. Schwarz, Thomas Doss, Jan Van der Roost, Jacob de Haan, and many others.
Since 2020, Susanne Zabl has been primarily responsible for the music engraving and score materials at Symphonic Dimensions Publishing.
