"There is magic in every beginning" – Goethe already recognized that something magical can be found in the new. This idea is also the source of inspiration for the piece "Something New to Believe In." The composition begins by giving the horn the musical lead, with catchy melodies full of positive energy. After the middle section expresses a mystical and almost wistful glimpse into the past, a brilliant finale follows, in which the various motifs of the piece blend and culminate in a hymn to the acceptance of the past and the fascination of the new.
