Legacy – a musical legacy

" Legacy " is a festive opening piece by Austrian composer Andreas Ziegelbäck , composed for the inauguration of the new music hall of the Laufen Gmunden-Engelhof factory band. A close friendship has existed between the orchestra and the composer for many years—a foundation that Ziegelbäck also incorporates musically: The pure intervals of fourth and fifth characterize the main motif and symbolize stability and permanence.

From bar 18, a lyrical Andante appassionato unfolds, evoking trust, community, and solidarity.
