Two boys from Felanitx on Mallorca , Pere Obrador and Miquel Àngel Cerdà , share a passion for their homeland and wine from an early age. After finishing school, Pere stays on the island, while Miquel goes to Madrid to study. But his longing for the sea and the Mallorcan way of life draws him back.

In 1994 , a dream came true for both of them: they founded their own winery in Mallorca and brought their first authentic Mallorcan wine onto the market.

With the creation of Ànima Negra, a new vision was born: a true Balearic wine , made from native grape varieties such as Callet , Mantonegro and Fogoneu – grapes deeply rooted in the island's tradition.

The goal: to make the essence of Mallorca tangible in the glass – with wines that reflect the sun , the salinity of the soil , the warmth of the Mediterranean and the unique energy of the island .

Today, Ànima Negra is internationally known for high-quality, characterful wines from Mallorca – handcrafted, deeply connected to the island, and appreciated worldwide.
