Tim Kleren, born in 1982 in Luxembourg, received his musical training at an early age—first at the Music School of Pétange, later at the Esch Conservatory, where he studied percussion with Paul Mootz and drum set with Serge Kettenmeyer and Alain Ginter, graduating with highest honors. His education was further complemented by studies in orchestration and instrumentation with Marco Pütz, as well as wind band conducting. In 2016, he completed his Master’s degree in Wind Band Conducting (HaFa-Directie) at the Maastricht Academy of Music with Jan Cober.

Since 2003, Kleren has been a musician with the Luxembourg Military Band and has simultaneously worked as a conductor of numerous ensembles, including Concordia Rosport (2010–2022), Harmonie Municipale Echternach (2022–2025), and, since 2020, the Menster Musik Wind Orchestra. Prior to this, he taught for several years at the Music School of Pétange and remains active in various orchestras and bands.

As a composer, Tim Kleren has been working with Symphonic Dimensions Publishing since 2023. More than 40 of his published works are performed internationally, including in Luxembourg, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Portugal, Singapore, and Japan.
