Collection: Robin Hoffmann
Robin Hoffmann studied composition, arranging, and piano at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden. While still a student, he worked on major film projects and, at just 21 years of age, wrote his first complete orchestral score for an international cinema production. Since then, he has composed numerous soundtracks for national and international films, several of which have received awards for Best Original Score.
As an orchestrator, Hoffmann works internationally. He has contributed to productions such as Star Wars: Visions(Disney+), the anime hit Suzume, and the Netflix series Leviathan. For Warner Brothers, he composed the soundtrack to the family film Treasure Trackers, whose music received multiple international awards. In 2025, his score for the short film The Way Up gained widespread viral attention.
Hoffmann has also achieved success in musical theatre. In 2009, he composed the music for the award-winning musical Dällebach Kari, which has been revived multiple times. In addition, he arranged the successful productions The One Grand Show and Vivid – Grand Show at the Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin.
Alongside his film work, Hoffmann regularly composes concert music for orchestras, big bands, and chamber ensembles. A particular highlight was a violin concerto for Anna Karkowska and the London Symphony Orchestra, recorded at Abbey Road Studios. Further projects include tour and album productions with various international artists.
Since 2023, Robin Hoffmann has been publishing his works for symphonic wind orchestra with Symphonic Dimensions Publishing.
