Lukas Polansky began his musical training at the age of five, studying trumpet, tenor horn, and trombone with Otto M. Schwarz, Mag. Christian Dunst, and Michael Krimplstätter. In addition, he received vocal training with Mag. Susanna Schuh and Monika Ballwein and gained early solo experience with the choir Cantate Domino. His first major orchestral experiences came with the Symphonic Wind Orchestra Wimpassing.

On the euphonium, he achieved second place twice at the national competition Prima la Musica. In 2016, he co-founded the band FlipNFlop together with Sebastian “Holza” Holzer, with original songs being broadcast on radio.

Since 2018, Polansky has been a member of the Lower Austrian Military Band, performing as a trombonist, singer, and section leader. In addition, he works as a lecturer for music associations and is actively involved in nurturing young musical talent.

In 2023, he took over the musical direction of the Music Association of the Vienna Municipal Employees in Ybbs an der Donau and also conducts the Melk District Youth Orchestra. Artistically, he is involved in projects such as the Otto M. Schwarz – Big Band Project, the Blue Danube Orchestra, and the band L&S Musik.

Since 2024, he has been undertaking training in ensemble and orchestra conducting with Thomas Doss and has been composing for Symphonic Dimensions Publishing.
