Flicorno D'Oro 2026 X Symphonic Dimensions
The Flicorno d’Oro 2026 featured a diverse and internationally-oriented repertoire. With Eiffel Tower (Grade 4) by Otto M. Schwarz and Iron Mountain (Grade 1.5) by Gerald Oswald, two works from the Symphonic Dimensions program were selected as compulsory pieces. We are very pleased that these compositions were part of the competition and performed by numerous international orchestras.
Symphonic Dimensions Publishing founder Otto M. Schwarz was also part of the Flicorno d'Oro jury, alongside Jakob de Haan, Benoît Chantry, Denis Salvini, Gildas Harnois, József Csikota and Mirco Besutti.

Austrian Wind Music Forum 2026 / Composers Evening
The Austrian Wind Music Forum 2026 once again provided a central platform for professional and artistic exchange within the wind band scene.
With a diverse program of workshops, presentations, and networking events, the focus was particularly on current developments in repertoire as well as new impulses for practical application. The forum thus unites key players in the scene – from conductors to composers to musicians and publishers.
Several composers from the Symphonic Dimensions circle were also represented at this event, including Hermann Pallhuber, Andreas Ziegelbäck, Matthias Weber, Otto M. Schwarz, and Gerald Oswald.
At the "Composers Evening" networking event, there was shop talk, new repertoire was discovered, and a glass or two of wine was enjoyed.
